April 26th, 2008 Villemomble 2 - 1 Tours
Dabo continued his now five-game scoring streak, but Tours failed to beat Villemomble. Jamel Zahiri opened the scoring in the 33rd minute and Mustapha Yatabaré added a second right before half time. Dabo nearly scored in the 62nd minute, but his shot was pushed onto the post by Xavier Pinoteau. Dabo did score in the 90th minute when he slid and hit a volley past Pinoteau, but there wasn't enough time for Tours to get a late equaliser. Fortunately for Tours, Vannes also lost (to Martigues, 1-0) so they did not lose ground in the race to be champions. Tours host Laval next Saturday. Laval are in 4th place, five points behind Tours. Tours have two matches at home (including a possibly champion deciding clash with Vannes on the last day of the season) and one away left, which is good because Tours have been good at home, but not so good on the road. They have picked up points in 10 out of their last 11 games at home (and have gotten at least a point in every game Dabo has played there) while they have only 13 points out of a possible 30 in their last 10 games on the road.
