Algerian Cup Quarterfinal

JSK took on MC Oran today in the quarterfinals of the Algerian Cup. JSK went behind in the 28th minute after Berradja scored after a good passing move. Then, in the 33rd minute, Dabo scored on of the more bizarre goals of his career. The MCO keeper recieved a backpass from his defender and Dabo charged him. The keeper's touch got away from him and Dabo slide tackled at the right moment to knock the ball into the open net. In the 62nd minute, MCO went up again after Haddou was released down the left flank and scored to make it 2-1. Down one goal and facing elimination, JSK got desperate. Luckily for them, Dabo headed Sofiane Harkat's long kick into the path of Cherif Abdeslam who scored an injury time equaliser to send the game in to extra time and eventually penalties.

Dabo stepped up to take the first penalty for JSK, and, for the first time this season, missed it. Luckily for JSK though, their keeper Fawzi Chaouchi made no mistake with his penalty to send them through to the semifinals of the Cup. JSK will play their next Cup match on June 21st.
