Dabo has been included in a squad of 21 players for Mali's African Nation's Cup Qualifiers this June. This is his first call up for a few years even after his great form all throughout this season. This call up comes after Dabo has scored 17 league goals, 8 CAF Champions League goals, and one Algerian Cup goal.

Mali currently sit 2nd in Qualifying Group 9. They are one point behind Togo who have 6, one point in front of Benin who have 4, and 4 points ahead of Sierra Leone, who have 1. Winning their next two games would be a huge step towards qualifying for ACN 2008.
